  1. It’s Wednesday again and here’s a snippet from a later chapter of slts: Enrique cuddled Amber close. “Since I’m clearly the only male friend in your life who wants to see you happy with someone who appreciates you, you should know that you are a catch, Ams.” “From my perpetually single friend, that’s kind of odd.” “What? I can appreciate that you’re a great girlfriend. I just don’t personally get any tingly feelings for you.” Enrique stopped, and thought about what he’d just said. “Wait, is that insulting?” “A wee bit, yeah.” “Oh. Do you get tinglies for me?” She shook her head. “No.” “Okay, so we just don’t tingle. But that’s not because you’re not tingle worthy. You’re very tingle worthy. And I cause a lot of tingles in the female population.” “I really want you to stop talking now.”

  2. From my Pokemon fic. . Once they were quiet, he added, “Arguing is not going to change anything. This battle is going to happen.” “We have nothing left! Even most of the walls are gone!” Another man with unruly blond hair pointed a finger at him and said, “This is your fault, Lance! Your grandfather would never have allowed this to happen!”

  3. From a Beyblade one-shot, I am working on. . The heated rays did nothing to them or the people welcoming them with roars of cheers. The flags of Japan were fluttering proudly in the forthcoming breeze. They were Samurai men and were largely respected in the Kingdom. They work as the leading generals for the Japanese Emperor. Thus they are well-reputed in the Kingdom. For most of the time, they work outside the Kingdom hence they don’t meet each other so often. The group is extremely formidable when they work together. Right now, the villagers were showering colorful petals on them for successfully completing a tough task on enemy kingdoms. Each of them was sent to a kingdom to collect intel based on their army, navy, blueprints, weapons, etc. The Japanese Emperor planted a smile out of pride. He has always trusted his generals. “My generals have proved who they are. As a reward, I am ready to offer you all some golden coins and wealth. This prize is definitely low for your work, but Japan is lagging behind in terms of wealth. There has been a crisis in the economy.” “Our majesty, we work for the nation. Not for wealth. You shouldn’t offer us wealth during a crisis. We expect the outcome and the success, not money,” Hiwatari remarked. The others nodded their heads in agreement. “Well, you can consider this as your income then. You all have worked, thus you all deserve this.”

  4. This is from an original story I am working on. A zombie hunter AU. “A man should be judged by the quality of his enemies. My father, God rest his soul, lived and died by these words and held the rest of the world to the same standards. If he could see the quality of mine, the old man would roll over in his grave and give me hell. But in truth he could do that he was safe there. The only consolation prize was there were times when quantity was more important than quality. Right now, though, I wasn’t willing to debate quality or quantity, either would make me dead.

  5. This is from the same one-shot I have been writing for almost two-weeks. This crossed around 12k words unexpectedly. . “Please, leave me! This my last request.” He quickly pulled her into an embrace. His hands got a firm grasp of her shoulders and nape. “Didn’t you feel like being loved even after I started to help you? Didn’t you feel like you were needed whenever I approached you and called you several times over the phone? Weren’t there times I had to ask you for help as well? Don’t you feel the warmth of getting hugged? Don’t you recognize my feelings even after I’ve done so much for you? Wouldn’t it be far more worthless and futile if I helped you for nothing? Tell me Katsumi. Have you ever noticed my feelings? Aren’t you feeling loved at this moment?” Both of them were getting heavily drenched. Their clothes got a bit heavier. Katsumi was absolutely speechless. She was just shocked. Infact, she was far more shocked than she was ever in her entire lifetime. She felt his heart pacing up when he confessed her. “If you can’t debunk this, then accept whatever I’ve confessed to you.” He felt her sobbing on his chest and clenching his shirt softly. He embraced her tighter. “You know? I have fallen for you on the day when I came for the check-up. No one has ever been that polite and gentle with me, but you. I-I-I’ve always thought that the rich can help the poor, but not beyond that.” “Why? Tell me why so? We all are human beings. Your position does nothing to your feelings. Did it stop you from loving me?” “No, it didn’t.” “So what, I am not a spoilt rich kid! I am just a rich kid, that’s it!” He rubbed her from the nape to her back gently. He gave her all which she missed in her life.

  6. I'm late but in the worlds of All Might, I am here! My two characters are working on their history essay and have discovered a name for an old helmet. I like little moments like this. ----- Kai stretched out his legs and she tensed as his feet caged hers, but she made no move to extract them. There was something innately intimate sitting like this with him. She didn’t want to do anything to jeopardise it. “But,” he said, tearing off a piece of his own pastry and licking a flake from his thumb, “no one needs to know why it started. Everyone knows the first World War happened, we’re focusing on the Somme and why that was pivotal in turning the war, despite the fact that it was the greatest loss of life to the allied forces.” “Ugh, fine. I’ll edit it later. Honestly though, this essay is worth it simply to know that there’s a word for that dumbass helmet."

  7. Some silly dialogue from the spin-off of my main story I work on like once a month... (I don't know how the 6 sentence thing is honestly counted, I think this is six?) “So, what are your plans for tonight? Wanna go out drinking again?” “Can’t, I lost my fake id…” He groaned, rubbing his temples. “‘Judas Iscariot’ lost a fight with a bouncer. Somehow he lasted longer than ‘Charles Darwin’.”

  8. I nearly forgot its existence so here we go. This is for one of my upcoming beyblade one-shots. . “Wait… you work as a doctor? You said you were preparing for medical entrances.” “No sir. I haven’t come to the part yet.” “Sorry then, you can go ahead.” “However, I got a pretty decent mark. I was not really a scoring student but not a bad student either. But, my father…” “What happened to your father?”

  9. Just a tad funny scene from my ongoing Beyblade one-shot. . “It’s none other than our wives….” Kai murmured. “You didn’t see us when we were waving hands at you all. Where is the love and devotion you all have for us?” Julia seethed. “Well, like…. H-how are you expecting us to see each and every one of them in the huge crowd?” Kai arouses his point. “Probably, you all were standing behind,” Takao remarked. “Ah-ah! It was all crowded when we came here,” Hiromi replied to her husband. “Aah! Now comes. Where is all the love and devotion you all have for your husbands? If you love us truly, you should have been standing in front. Or…. should have hugged us immediately when we made our way here,” Kai gave a smug look at his wife. Julia bit her tongue and bent down. ‘Is he flirting with me?’ “Proven double standards,” Ozuma remarked. “My lord! It took some time for us to groom ourselves on such an auspicious day! Look! Look at all of us! We are garnished heavily! And our Kimonos are expensive along with our ornaments!” Mariam tried convincing them. We all love you so much; hence we thought we should garnish ourselves well.” “Well, you are so beautiful even without grooming yourself Mariam. That was not needed,” Ozuma smirked. “Yes, Salima! N-Nothing of such was needed! You look like an angel. Why did you spend so much time garnishing? I-I-I almost thought that we were going to have a second marriage when I saw you!” “Hnn?” she cocked an eyebrow. “Really!” Tyson grabbed Kane and whispered, “You fucking liar.”

  10. I have a thing I'm working on that hopefully will be part of a series of my characters. Still missing the head angles here, which I hope to do today. Also a snippet from chapter 8 of Digital [R]eincarnation. --- White turned towards her as she approached, her expression betrayed nothing, but somehow 21O was able to tell that she knew something was wrong already, she was an operator that did not approach the Commander very often if it wasn’t on behalf of her supported units. “Operator 21O, did 9S get in trouble again?” 21O didn’t like the way she spoke of him, she made it sound like he was nothing but a nuisance, he’d been recently reset again too but she forced herself not to reply on that matter. “Unit 9S has been behaving fine, it is about Unit 26E.” “Unit 26E? That is very unusual.” White commented. And it was true, except at the beginning, when she still needed guidance, 26E barely ever asked anything, or needed anything. She’d always been independent, perhaps even too much. So whenever something went wrong with her it was more than a small concern, but an actual problem. 21O forced herself to hold the Commander’s expectant gaze, and to not show her emotions. “I am afraid that Unit 26E has failed her mission.” In a second, White’s expression went from completely neutral to a barely restrained rage, and 21O braced herself for the words that would follow. “She failed?” White almost growled. It was true that she had sent her against A2, who had survived anything and anyone, but she believed that at least the former human would have been capable of putting her down for good. The woman had the strength of a YoRHa and experience in assassination beyond any other soldier, and that still hadn’t been enough? “Operator, send a retrieval team to her last known location, I want her repaired and functional immediately.” she ordered, sounding calm and collected though she was anything but that. White waited until 21O was out of her sight and turned away, her fists clenched at her side, staring at that red writing that now appeared on the giant screen before her. Proof of 26E’s first ever failure was now there for everyone to see. The signal of her black box was gone, while A2’s one still remained. “Number 2…” she growled under her breath. “How long do you insist on living?”

  11. I have submitted a WIP for review in my person thread, but something I also worked on today was a little CANDY scene to cheer myself up =) A cute little Steph x Matt scene from an upcoming chapter of Tri: Of Honesty and Loyalty ---- Just as she was thinking about how she could spend forever like this; she heard a rustling behind them, followed by the sound of voices. Quiet voices - and some not so quiet ones - whispering excitedly from the next room, and remembered that they were supposed to be supervising their Digimon. Slowly she pulled away from him, ignoring his muffled sounds of protest, and inclined her head towards the rehearsal room where she caught a glimpse of blue and white fur as it darted back out of the room, followed by a flash of orange. “I think,” she said, her voice catching, “that we might have an audience.” He laughed soundlessly. “I noticed,” he said. Then, in a far sterner voice that their audience could clearly hear, he added; “the lot of you better make yourselves scarce if you know what’s good for you.” The Digimon squealed in alarm as they scrambled away, tripping over their own feet as they hurried to shut the door behind them. “Knuckleheads,” he muttered, and she couldn’t help but laugh; a laugh that he quickly silenced with another kiss, this time soft and lingering. Forgetting the momentary interruption, she kissed him back, noting the way that his heartbeat began to race and he reached for her again … And then her phone chimed.

  12. It's Wednesday and that means story sharing time! Corny time! Woot! This is an unedited scene and will probably get some revision done at a later time. Title - A Crown of Thorns (an original fantasy disguised as a pokemon fanfiction) - He left his sentence unfinished and looked aside, looking at the helpless once more. All these people left homeless because of his actions. “…Then I take the fall. He wants me in exchange for his grandson’s life. If I turn myself over then you can all live.” She shook her head. “No. Don’t say that. Just don’t.” “We need to be realistic here, Lyra. I won’t risk having you all die too.” Curling her bottom lip, she said, “And you think we would just abandon you?” “If I gave you the order to leave, would you?” She held back a curt laugh. “You’re really asking me that? No. I wouldn’t. You almost died before – seeing you on that table dying of poison…” Her lower lip trembled as she drew in a deep breath to steady herself. “I don’t want to live in a world without you. You gave me a better life. And if today is our last day… I’d rather leave it with you than without.” -

  13. That last line was absolutely AMAZING, nothing could top it, honestly. Anyways, I’m very interested in the setting of this fic! Zombie apocalypse? Supernatural interference? YES. Also, the realism of people just ignoring that there are zombies is awesome lol —————— Anyways, here’s a clip from a Detective Conan x Kingdom Hearts fic that I’m working on. However, the first chapter of this fic, where this excerpt was taken from, is purely Detective Conan. This is one of the beginning sections: —————— But both he and Haibara knew that there was no way she could improve the formula to help his pain, not if they still wanted the antidote to actually work. So, as always, he powered through it, silently praying that the suffering would stop soon so that he could finally get relief and get on with his life. (As silent as those prayers were, his screams were not. …He was just glad that the walls were thick enough to muffle their voracity, though he could not avoid Haibara’s pained glance at his state afterwards.) With that, you couldn’t really blame him for feeling so miserable after it was all over. The whole way over to the station, Shinichi did his best to get used to his old muscles, moving them around in an attempt to distract from the soreness that refused to leave his bones.

  14. Everyone joked about the coming apocalypse, rolling their eyes when the believers started talking about it. Hell, maybe we should have listened … even the CDC was making noises about it. But most people said, yeah right and went on with what they were doing. After all everyone knows that zombies are just Hollywood’s go to bad guys. The good news was the supernatural council worked with humans without their knowledge of course they cured the disease that caused people to turn into undead cannibals. Now we just had to get rid of the buggers. Sometimes when I pass an abandoned McDonald's I think about the amount of fast food my children and used to eat and realize that today I am fast food. And there is only one thing on the menu -People burgers served rare.

  15. My WIP from Wednesday, late as usual I have submitted the full piece in my feedback thread because basically it's too long for here. From my Digimon One Shot --- She glanced back toward the campsite where the others had gathered kindling for a fire. She heard Tai’s voice call out to Agumon, and the small dinosaur Digimon opened his mouth, letting out a jet of fire that set not only the bundle of logs and twigs alight, but also some of the surrounding grass. She saw a flash of irritation cross Matt’s face at Agumon’s carelessness - it had been a wayward spark from Tai’s campfire earlier that had made Seadramon attack them earlier. With a tsk of annoyance, he turned away and stretched out against the grass, folding his hands behind his head. “We’re not that far away,” he insisted as Steph watched Tai hastily stamp out the grass. “Besides, Gabumon’s watching - if there’s any trouble he can just Digivolve to Garurumon.” Steph wanted to argue that just because his partner could Digivolve now, that didn’t mean they should take unnecessary risks but then she remembered that heading back to the campsite would mean she’d have to apologise to her cousin. “Just a little longer then,” she conceded, ignoring the slight dampness of the ground as she stretched out beside him and cast her eyes back up at the stars again, thinking back to the many nights she and Becky had done the same on the rooftop of their apartment building. The artificial lights of Tokyo’s skyline had drowned out all but the brightest stars then but here, in the wilderness of the Digital World, the stars lit up the sky like a kaleidoscope. “I keep studying the constellations,” she told him. “I thought if I could identify one or two of them, I might be able to figure out where we are - or at least get some idea of how much time has passed since we got here.” “Any luck?” She shook her head, forgetting that he couldn’t see her face. “Not yet,” she admitted. “I don’t recognise a single one of these constellations - which is weird because constellations are made up of stars that are a million light years away. Even if we were on another planet in the galaxy, they would still appear in the same patterns as they would on Earth. Unless of course we were in another galaxy, but that’s just crazy talk…” She trailed off, acutely aware that she was rambling, which she knew was one of her less endearing qualities. Usually, when she rambled, Tai would tell her that she was being weird again and Becky would complain that she was over complicating things. Matt did neither of those things, ** but instead had let her ramble until she’d simply run out of words to say and silence fell over them both. When she turned her head to look at him she saw that he lay unmoving beside her, looking up at the stars. It wasn’t an uncomfortable silence, Steph realised, but rather a contented one. She felt better having gotten things off her chest, even if she hadn’t expected to unload those feelings on someone who was basically a stranger to her. ***

  16. I know it's Thursday here. Damn, I missed it, but I hope it's okay? Okay this snippet is taken from my ongoing Jujutsu Kaisen medieval A.U. . “That’s the room of Fushiguro-Kun; is he awake?” Nobara approached the chamber and saw a tall, jet-black-haired warrior facing the view of Shibuya from the windows. He was dressed in a loose navy blue Kimono, which blended with the nocturnal sky. “Kugisaki, is that you?” he asked in a low-toned voice. “How did you know that it was me? You didn’t see me either.” “I just sensed a door opening around fifty meters away. That’s exactly where your chamber is located, Kugisaki.” “You are so sharp, prince Fushiguro.” Megumi chuckled and responded, “All the doors were locked when I returned from treatment except two chambers. One was yours and the other’s was Junpei’s.” “Hmm….” “Why are you standing there? You are free to come here.” “Aah, I thought I interrupted your privacy so-” “No…. though I fought really hard today, I don’t feel like taking a slumber.” There was an awkward silence. Nobara approached Megumi and stood beside him. She looked extremely short when she stood by. “Well, shall I know the reason for your stroll?” “I don’t feel sleepy either. I just left Miwa to sleep. My hair hasn’t dried as well.” “I see.” “Prince Fushiguro, why didn’t you go with Junpei and Yuji?” “I was in treatment; it took me a while for it. Also, I wanted to be alone this night. I promised that I would talk to them when dawn approaches. Well, do you think I am the person to have a sleepover with them?” Nobara couldn’t control her laughter. Megumi is the most reserved out of the three, so he prefers to be alone. She understands that well. “Don’t take me wrong for this… but I know what it is to lose someone very precious to you. I assume that you are still mourning over your father’s death.”

  17. Start of ch 15. --- Hikaru stopped when Miyuki nudged him and he glanced over to his right when Miyuki said that they had unexpected visitors. He had been going to reply with “Of course we do, we’re in their territory.” but chose not to as the higher priority was working together to beat them. The opponent Digimon snickered at them before running off down the hallway they were walking down. “Or not… That was odd, to say the least.” Miyuki noted, puzzled as to why the Digimon hadn’t wanted to challenge them to battle. Examon watched for a moment longer. “Probably didn’t want to fight us, because we are Ultimate levels. It knew it wouldn’t have stood a chance against us as it was an Adult.” Miyuki nodded in silence as she continued walking with Hikaru. “Okay, so where is this room? We’re so bloody lost right now. Does the Digivice have a GPS?” The pair wandered down the hallway and checked any side rooms they encountered, looking for any sign of the other Chosen team. After the earlier appearance of the Adult level who didn’t challenge them, which Miyuki still thought was odd, there seemed to be no other meetings with rogue Digimon. “The whole castle can not be empty, surely?” Miyuki asked Hikaru, turning her head slightly in his direction. Hikaru shook his head. “I doubt that it’s empty; more we’re just having very good luck so far in not running into anything. Other than that Adult, but it doesn’t count so.”

  18. It’s Spring Break in this chapter. The team have split for the week. Kai’s at hockey camp, Tala’s back home training up Kane and the others are in Ireland safe from the clutches of the evil and globophobic Vice Principal. So of course they’re going to do something stupid and inflammatory. - Kai’s phone beeped repeatedly and he felt his ears burn as he grabbed for it. “Sorry, I had a group chat on mute. It must have ended.” Raul closed in beside him. “Your team group chat? It sounds chaotic.” That was one word to describe it. He closed his eyes and then pulled out his phone, opening the chat app. 126 unread messages. Maybe he could just delete the whole chat—if he left Miyami would just re-add him. But would that clear the chat history? Ozuma: I’m sorry. I tried to stop them. The words snagged his gaze and Kai frantically scrolled up. Kane: Not one brain cell between them. Tala: It’s not that bad. Dicey Rileys posted a video. Kai released a breath. Not good. That wasn’t just Miyami videoing them, that was a social media page that went out to the public. What had they done? “You look annoyed, Hiwatari,” Garland drawled, rubbing chalk against the cue stick. “I’m not annoyed.” Resigned, accepting of the inevitable, sure, but annoyed? Well, that would be pointless. He knew his team. They’d been sent out into the world unsupervised, of course, something went wrong. Sucking in a breath, he opened the video. It was dark and a little blurry—clearly a pub and while not packed, it was popular. A guitar began to strum off screen and a rough voice, one that he recognised as Johnny, began to sing about buying balloons in a little toy shop. His stomach sank and quivered, and something tickled in his throat as “99 red balloons go by” lingered in the air. Drums pounded and the shaky camera zoomed in on a group of teens head banging and jumping to the riotous chorus. His team were idiots.

  20. I forgot to post this last night because I was so tired... but here was my WIP =) Part of a series of drabbles from Steph’s time in the Digital World. After activating her crest of Loyalty for the first time, Steph and Patamon are sucked through a gate and arrive in Odaiba where they hope to find Tai and bring him back to the Digiworld! @campdigimonth ——— Suddenly and without warning, the door swung open to reveal a small child with short brown hair. She looked up, her brown eyes widening in surprise that quickly morphed into excitement when she saw the Digimon in Steph’s arms. “Oh wow! You have a Digimon too,” the girl exclaimed. Steph blinked, then slowly looked down at the Digimon who grew suddenly very still in her arms. “How do you know …” she began, then she stopped herself. She could figure out the details later. All that mattered now was finding their leader. “Never mind,” she said. “Kari - did Tai come back from camp already?” Kari inclined her head curiously. “My brother …” she repeated slowly, and Steph felt her heart begin to sink. What if her theory had been wrong all along - what if Tai hadn’t made it through the gate the way she thought he had. What if she was stranded here in the Real World while all her friends remained in the Digital World. Kari shifted, her hand still holding the edge of the door framed. “He’s right over there.” She stepped aside, opening the wider and allowing Steph a better view of the inside of the Kamiya apartment. Unable to help herself, Steph peered inside and caught a glimpse of messy brown hair sticking up from behind the sofa cushions. “Taichi…” she murmured. He sat up, craning his neck to look over the top of the couch, his brown eyes widening in surprise. A moment passed; then he was up, vaulting over the edge of the couch towards her, startling Kari, who jumped back in alarm. He hugged her with enough force to knock the wind out of her, but Steph couldn’t care less. She’d done it, she realised with a mixture of triumph and relief; she’d found Tai, and if they could find a way back to the Digital World then maybe - just maybe, they could bring everyone back together again. He pulled away, holding her at arms length and looking her up and down, like one might appraise a relative they hadn’t seen in a long time. Then he grinned - that carefree, cheeky grin of his she remembered so vividly. “What’s with the tears?” he asked. Steph laughed despite herself, wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes. “I’m just so glad to see you, Tai.”

  21. Still chapter 4 of Digital [R]eincarnation. I believe this is six sentences (?) --- She was a curse, a plague, a ticking bomb ready to explode and take as many victims as possible with her. This was a different planet, a different world, a different body, a different purpose, and yet, it felt like all was just the same as ever. Being a human or an android did not matter much when it was her, nothing ever mattered when it had been her name involved, her actual name, her YoRHa name, in the end they both spoke of danger and death. With a chuckle she directed her gaze to the sky, the sun glaring down at her. “In the end, you’re still you. You will never change, right, Nico Robin?”

  22. Fantasy story. Still needs some editing and such and maybe a bit of wordy speech, but I like how it turned out overall. . More flaming arrows sailed above the fortress and onto the ground, each one imploding into embers upon landing. Fortunately, there was nothing flammable in the area. He hurried over to the gate where Brawley, the wolves and several foot soldiers stood. The men were huddled together, their swords and shields raised at the ready. All they could see were the flaming arrows and hear death marching on their doorstep. Lance caught Brawley’s eyes, exchanged nods, and turned to address the foot soldiers. “Let this day be remembered for its important place in our history. We have defeated the dead, and now we must fight to slay the living. Beyond these walls is a dangerous man grieving the loss of his grandson. Instead of settling for peace, he has decided to declare war.” He tightened his jaw, his hand tightening around the hilt of his blade, feeling the surge of heat pour through his body. “But we will not surrender. That is not the way of our people. We will not bow to foreign masters and bring shame to the ancestors who founded this land that we call our home. We may be few in numbers, but our spirit will not be crushed. Today marks the day that we fought to protect our homeland from those who wish to turn it into a bitter wasteland.” A violent tremor shook the ground. Lance turned around. Someone or something was slamming into the door like a battering ram. With each collision, the iron gate loosened. The golurks and with them, a bloodthirsty army of men ready to kill in the name of their king. Lance tightened his grip around his sword.

  23. Hallo, my band Timeless Rage plays Symphonic Power Metal. We completed an album and currently we have one lyric video out for the first single "Warrior" (see below). Additional videos will follow this year (next lyric video will be out on 21th of January). We are always looking for ways to improve our reach and visibility online, as the current concert situation is nothing we can make plans on. One idea would be future lyric videos, animation videos, or creating song canvas (3...8 seconds videos) for spotify https://open.spotify.com/artist/3SFCl90AfmCM4vkIPtWovA So collaborations and contacts to artists in this field are very much appreciated as well as additional ideas on this subject. If you just like our music, this is of course fine, too

  24. Start of ch 16 --- Examon and Medieval Dukemon charge towards Vamdemon, with the intention of fighting and beating him. Vamdemon merely stood where he was for a moment, mocking, watching them come for him. After a long moment, he reacted by raising his hands. Red energy whips burst forth and he directed them at the two newly evolved Ultimates. “You are forgetting your place in this world. I have far more experience as a Perfect because I am older. Kneel before your elder.” Vamdemon declared, bringing Bloody Stream down on their heads again. The Royal Knight and Dukemon variant felt the sheer strength behind the whip-like attacks. They felt their energy starting to slowly wane, but they weren’t going to give up just yet. Examon hefted up his weapon and fired a high powered laser from Ambrosius. At the same time, Medieval Dukemon swung her lance as she tried to at least injure Vamdemon. Expecting to at least get a scratch on the vampire, Medieval Dukemon was caught off-guard when he did not sustain any wounds whatsoever. Well, um… This was going to change things. Medieval Dukemon thought as she stepped back, bringing her axe closer to herself. How were they going to win? Examon tried again, but his attack was blocked by Vamdemon who countered first by crossing his arms in a cross formation. Then he unleashed Bloody Stream on their heads once more and that was the tipping point. Both Ultimate levels let out a pained groan as they devolved back to Child.

  25. I have a super proggy kind vibe in mind. Synth organs and odd time signatures. Like Dream theater had a baby with nightwish orchestration. That said I have no idea how do write for a symphony. Also it's going to have probably 3 full minute of instrumental guitar solo wankery haha.

  27. Hi all! This is an idea I've been considering for sometime now, but I won't go ahead without support as that would be pointless. I know most of us ave accounts on FanFiction.Net and Archive of Our Own (and other writing sites), but I was wondering how many of you would be interested in our own writing archive, and how many would actually support it? By support, I mean registering, uploading, and reviewing? I think we could use it in response to our challenges and such here, and I think it'd be cool to have our own personalised site. This does not mean you can't share links to other external sites - I just think it would be cool to have something that is about us. Yes, it will mean you may not get some stat boosts on your main places, but at the end of the day, those places are still gonna be available anyway. We can choose our fandoms. We can choose the genres. We can have both original and fanfiction. We can even choose our own ratings and such. I really do need feedback on this so please reply. @Moderator @Community Leader @Veteran Member @Senior Member @Partner @New Member @Member

  28. This. Sentence. Such a simple powerful sentence, I absolutely love it. Here's a section of song lyrics I've been working on. The song is about the human urge to explore and find what is beyond. The first part is a pre chorus, and the second part is the chorus. Countless stars with countless worlds to explore. We will always search for more. Looking beyond the pale blue dot, Our quest has begun. Traveling over land. Sailing over seas. Humanities endless curiosity, Aimed towards the stars.

  29. *looks at Adam Milligan* In all seriousness, I agree with this lol My feels: I read fanfiction a lot if things feel like they ended on a poor note and casted over characters I wanted to know more about... Or that Canon ruined (Supernatural, looking at you) Sometimes I just want more of the world or to see how creative authors continue an already amazing story. Good Omens was great and before the Adaptation happened, there was no real portrayal of the archangels in the actual media itself. But the fan sequels Manchester Lost and Paradise Thwarted mixed new characters and existing characters perfectly. Dare I say I prefer the fan archangels to the official archangels XD probably not hard tho when only Gabriel seemed to have much personality in the adaptation lmao hope the sequel gives more. But yeah, above all my reasons are seeing characters that got neglected by their media (Adam) or don't have much screen time anyway but piqued my interest (several villains from Pokemon). And sometimes you just want to see the long suffering characters have a happy ending.

  30. Free stories for characters I already love? What's not to love about that? Especially with anime or shows where they tend to just get cancelled or have a host of secondary characters that never get the development they could. There's so many more stories there to tell and little cracks to fill up. Little moments out of time that can be written to explain a character's motivation or how they got from one place to another. There's so much space for creation, and as someone who loves stories in all their formats, I'll definitely take advantage of fanfiction. And Fanfiction can be just as good as novels. I read a lot. There's not a day goes by where I don't read and years ago I got to a stage where I was reading faster than my favourite novelists could create. Fanfiction was a life (and money) saver for me. I don't really tell anyone I write fanfiction (all my online people know that obviously because that's how I've met my best friends) because I always get asked: why not write your own stories? Well I do but I don't have a built in audience for them and it gets lonely writing on your own. Also it's hard! It's hard to create the world, the characters, the dynamics, the plot, to pull it all together and not have any plot holes and the book industry right now is not brilliant. You are not an instant best seller over night and if your first book doesn't do the numbers, you're not getting a second book. Your book series can be cancelled just as easily as a TV show now without an audience of millions petitioning to get it back. Also most audiences want a specific formula to follow. You go outside that and they're not willing to follow you - but with fanfic, you give them the characters they love and you can write whatever you want and that readership will at least give it a try. Would I have gotten away with a 700,000 word novel about high schoolers playing ice hockey? I don't think so.

  31. Just squeezing in before the end of Saturday my time. This snippet involves the teens in Ireland, having a tour of Kilmainham Gaol. The whole of it isn't exactly wowing him. ---- Ian frowned as their tour guide with too many vowels entered a tall, narrow tower. He followed her inside and wrinkled his nose, breathing in the musty, damp air. It was weird to think of people existing in this place so many years ago—not living, people didn’t live in prisons, not really. It was a moment out of time, suspended in a fugue, until they were released out into a brand new world that had left them behind. He grimaced. It was sort of like boarding school.

  32. Fandom - Assassin's Creed - The Rooks withdrew their knives and advanced towards him, their expressions vacant. Tiny raised his knife and pointed it at Jacob. “You became lost somewhere along the way!” Jacob pulled out the gun and shook wildly in the air. “No! It’s you who is lost!" - Blegh. Missing out on the rest of the paragraph but six sentences.

    Hello There!

As the title would suggest, I'm on a mission to defeat General Grievous. On a more serious note, I met Aquila through her Symphonic Metal discord. I enjoy music and literature, and figured I might as well try my hand at writing. My main focus will be on writing song lyrics. My dream is to write a concept album about the tales of Middle Earth. My favourite books are anything by J.R.R. Tolkien, but enjoy fantasy in general. As for my self, I love all things nerdy; Star Wars, Marvel, Middle Earth etc. Looking forward to writing and chatting about writing in general!

The fandoms I will read was kind of difficult for me to answer. I read everything (mostly) There are fandoms I shy from but read stories from there because I am reading the author not the fandom. Most fandoms are negotiable for me. For example: I read Glee but only certain pairings. I read Star Wars, but nothing done after Episode three (OG /Prequels) It would probably be better to post the ones that I won't read. So, I will put my top twelve from book. movies, tv and games that I keep returning to. AUTHOR PEN NAME: FFN LINK: Ryker Davis | FanFiction Ryker Davis | FictionPress ARCHIVE Link: Ryker_Davis | Archive of Our Own FANDOMS I WRITE FOR: Star Wars, Replacement Killers, Glee, Dragon Age, Supernatural, Highlander, FANDOMS I WILL READ: Dresden Files, Inheritance Cycle, Mistborn Trilogy, Dragon Age, Assissan's Creed, Mortal Kombat, Star Wars (most), John Wick, Marvel (all), Doctor Who, Star Trek (all), Leverage WHAT I WANT FROM REVIEWS: Was the story enjoyable? What was your favorite part? Could you relate? What did you dislike? Your favorite line. How you connected or didn't. The beta stuff is fine. We all need help there but not my main focus for reviews. I write to tell a story, so I want to know that you enjoyed it or didn't.

  35. What do you think of stories where the villain becomes the good guy and the hero becomes the bad guy? I've sometimes thought about turning my good guy into a bad guy, but it kinda rubs me the wrong way because I like my heroes to be, well, heroes. But I do like redemption arcs for bad guys becoming good guys. What do you think?

  36. Yeah, the genres sound decent. As of now I'm thinking (open to change though!). Crime & Mystery (detective work type stories or ones about mysterious murders and the like) Fantasy (elves, dwarves, dragons, magic, vampires, werewolves etc) Horror & Thriller (not to be confused with supernatural fantasy - this is all about gore and making your readers feel horrified) Romance (self-explanatory but stories where the main plot is the romance) Sc-Fi (apocalypse, dystopian, aliens, space ships) Drama (angst, hurt/comfort, tragedy - basically stories where lots of dramatic events happen to your characters) For warnings, I'm basing it loosely off the Australian movie classifications guide. It'd be something like this (open to suggestions of course) G - General Audiences - Harry Potter! Pokemon. They're safe. PG - Parental Guidance - some slight suggestive themes so something like Family Guy, Futurama, The Simpsons level or your standard superhero movie M - Mature - Think of video games like Assassin's Creed - there is violence, there may be some profanity, but nothing too hardcore MA - Mature Audience - contains violence, gore, ... something like Game of Thrones. No shying away from sex, violence, profanity etc.

  37. It's Sunday for me, but still Saturday for some people so this still counts! . “We have nothing left!" “And it is because of my grandfather that we are in this mess,” Lance replied heatedly. The man slinked back into the crowd. Lance drew in a deep breath, recollected himself, and continued. “Alder’s army will be greater than the one against the dead, but I’m not forcing you to fight if you do not wish too. I know that we have lost much, but if Alder claims Blackthorn, he’ll take the rest of Johto-Kanto too.”

  39. Same story, still chapter 7. --- A2 silently walked towards her kneeling form, her expression unreadable, she did not appear convinced, so Robin only had to hope to still be herself when she’d get repaired, and that A2 believed in her words enough to wait for her to return. It was the only way, the only thing left was just a flicker of hope. Looking back at A2 she gave her a nod. “Do what you must.” A2 took a moment to activate the core of her sword as she pondered, the woman had been telling the truth, she did want to be killed, when moments ago she’d been just a step away from finishing her off. What kind of mysteries were lying in that head of hers?

  40. Another section of ch 14. --- “Other enemies will stop us?” Hikaru questioned. Lotusmon nodded, levelling a deadpan look at him. “Yes. What did you expect? To not be challenged and have an easy run of the castle? This is the Digital World we’re talking about. It’s survival of the fittest. MegaloGrowmon are formidable in their own right, so be very careful.”

  41. So, I forgot about Wednesday too. Oops. My late piece. From my Pokemon fantasy. Currently in draft form and I will improve this later. - Lance found Chuck peering over the wall. The man was alone. “Chuck.” Glancing over his shoulder, Chuck said, “Lance. You’re empty-handed.” “As are you,” Lance remarked. He joined Chuck at the wall and looked ahead at the rugged terrain of tussock grass. It stretched towards the horizon. There were no places to hide. The enemy would approach them on flat open terrain. “At least we can see them coming from a distance,” he added. A slight advantage. Chuck nodded. “A small ray of hope in a field of darkness.” The calm before the storm. Blood would once again be spilled. Once again he would have to lead his people into death. Breaking the silence, Lane said, “Do you have any regrets?” Raising an eyebrow, Chuck said, “About what?” “Serving my family.” Lance turned his head to face him. “You served my grandfather for over a decade.” “Your grandfather was a good man, Lance.” “Do you really believe that?” Lance countered his brows furrowed. “His hatred of other races led to the necromancers seeking revenge. His own fear would’ve killed me – he never accepted what I was. He tried to conceal it. Contain it. Does that make him a good man?” The older man sighed. “I didn’t agree with every decision your grandfather made, but everything he did, he did to protect our city.” -

  42. It's been a while since I posted in here too. Part of the start of ch 14 of my Digimon OC fic --- “Very well done,” Clockmon said as he stopped his reverse time spell. “I must say I was not expecting such an attack, either. The both of you were slow and disorganized at first. But I saw firsthand the powers each of you possesses when you learn to work together. You two certainly achieved many things a lot faster than the Virtue Chosen.” The praise from the normally solemn and level-headed Machine Digimon was rather surprising, considering how judgemental he was earlier. Both Digimon bowed to the Adult Machine Digimon and Ultimate Fairy Digimon. “Thank you. It has been an honour,” Examon said before he and Medieval Dukemon reverted back to their previous forms, returning to their partners’ sides. “Does this mean we are ready to save Taichi and the others?” Dracomon asked the pair. “Yes, I believe you are ready to head to the Digital World with your team,” Lotusmon said, but from what little features they were able to make out were not very comforting. “However, you must keep a few things in mind. There are many Digimon, including Wizarmon, held prisoner deep within the vampire’s damp, dark lair. There have been rumors that Vamdemon has been recruiting Megalo Growmon to guard his prisoners and surrounding domain, but they should be a piece of cake to take out now that you both have Ultimates on your side.” “As of currently,” Clockmon spoke up, “Taichi and his friends are currently trapped in the Digital World, so it will be your mission to find a way in and get them and Wizarmon out.”

  43. Been a while since I posted in this thread XD Another little snippet of a scene from Battle Cry of the Sunbird, starring another, more grumpy, bird on a mission in the underworld. A beautiful melody rippled through the air as he wandered the castle halls, feeling the servants’ stares on him. From his dark mahogany hair to his face, then to his wings. Those wings of his, he had cursed them so many times. For a man like himself who did not see much fun in it, mating season was an eternal pain. An endless mess of ignoring frustrated birds. Ikarus let out a quiet sigh, hearing the music more clearly with each step he took, as he finally reached the heart of the castle’s first floor. The whole time he had been trying to ignore the humming behind himself, however as he rested his hand on the handle, he could not any longer. Clenching his fist he turned around, voice calm as always but eyes blazing as they settled on the woman. “Can you please stop?” “Stop what?” the fiend practically sang, twirling her red ponytail. Her stubby demonic tail twirled with it. Discipline, he reminded himself. No matter how much she irritated him, a prince and army commander should not attempt to throw a woman through a second storey window. “Why are you still here?” “Asking for a raise, modern humans are a pain in the ass to deal with.” She shrugged and kicked the door. It did not budge. Ikarus stared at her. “... Alright, I’ll open it the old fashioned way.”

  44. From Digital [R]eincarnation chapter 7, fresh from last night. --- Robin had killed many androids during these past years, but never she had seen such a reaction. There had been anger towards her, scorn, fear, terror, but never she had ever see anyone cry with so much sadness. Those eyes spoke of someone that did not want to die, while everyone else in their own way had shown acceptance towards it. That A2 still had something she wanted to prove to the world before she went, despite how hard surviving was in a world that didn’t want you. Robin could swear she could feel something tugging at her chest at the realization. She swore she knew that look in someone’s eyes, and it was not because of the similarities she shared with 2B. Her mind flashed the image of a young child, a child whose dreams had been shattered, a child that much like A2 everyone wanted gone. That child was her… that was the look her own eyes had carried for so long… How could you forget about me? She heard a voice, her own voice of her younger self, chastising, scolding, berating, judging her. Shaking her head, she summoned Scarlet Despair, it didn’t matter in the end, a duty was duty, and she had to carry on with it like she always did. And yet… her hand shook… How could you become so cruel? Her own child self chimed in again, Robin closed her eyes and swallowed the lump in her throat. She’s always been cruel… But why wasn’t she able to just impale this woman like she’s done to many other YoRHas? She was even more of a stranger than the others. She’s just like us! Have you forgotten all we went through? She hadn’t, she swore she hadn’t. As an android she could not even forget even if she wanted, no matter how hard she tried. That was why she couldn’t, she couldn’t finish off this helpless android that much like her had fought so hard to keep living against everything. She knew that killing her would kill herself and everything her human self ever believed in… It would mean to get rid of her very last shred of humanity left in her.

  45. I like the dashboard of Ao3 better. And the ability to put things in a folder to read later. (Marked for later) if I am not ready to subscribe. And the extra categories at Ao3. But I think the analytics are better at ff.n. I think my favorite part of ff.n is the hit count. You can tell where your story is popular. What chapter is being hit not just the entire story. The way Ao3 does it you may get 100 hits but have a ten-chapter story... and no one reads past chapter one, and you never know it. But that said there are stories at Ao3 that are not at ff.n because the writers don't want to play the games with trolls at ff.n

  49. It's been awhile since this was lasted posted in.... But I gotta say.... a shoutout to my fellow Smite clan (probably already done this but oh well). We've had an absolute blast over the years, and it's been more enjoyable thanks to the power of party chat! We've certainly had many memorable moments. I'm gonna randomly list a few words that spring to mind. Some classic moments featuring @Ace of Spies @Sakura Alexia @Stubborn Saber @Shizophrenia Stubborn's Geb shields shielding himself instead of the squishy Loki "kill-securing" Crit Herc Sakura raging about every god laning against her Logan and Hades - there's always a Hades laning against him in solo Ace being a filthy joust main Fuck Chang'e That one time my Kumbha got a triple kill in assault Damage Ganesha. Damage guardian jungle really. The Stubborn speciality Ao Kuang's big ship. Totally not compensating for anything Getting fingered Trolling games (still happens) Godly Loki plays LB and Ra's "get in the healing circle" Shiz returning to Smite after over a year, losing games, and wondering 'why did I come back again?' Jorm feeding Ymir having nothing between his legs Ullr and Awilix doing stuff in the jungle Lag and lots of it The utter lack of appreciation for Loki from non Loki players : ( Khepri split-pushing phoenixes Sakura and female gods Did I say fuck Chang'e? Losing games in ranked joust Team laugh spams Syndicate getting trolled by Stubborn in duo lane I'm sure there are plenty more. But the laughs are real.

  50. I would like to tell that FanFiction was my first writing site. I made a lot of friends, improved my English there and I really like it. For beyblade writers, FanFiction is the ideal site. Your fics can fetch a lot of reviews. You can add a coverpage too. AO3 doesn't have that. But AO3 is million times better in terms of reading consistency. Ads don't pop up. Also my non-beyblade fics seem to get some recognition there. I am not sure which is better. FanFiction is simpler, but AO3 is spacious. It depends upon the taste of every person.
