The Gamer Rage Thread

Haha Stormy I'm reminded of a boss on Rune Factory 4 called Thunderbolt. Took me forever to defeat it on Easy mode. It was the second boss. The third and fourth boss were a piece of cake after defeating a ridiculously fast unicorn. And oddly enough it was way easier to defeat whenever I rematched it.

I've not even finished Rune Factory 4 -_- I'm on part 2 of 3 and the bosses are ridiculously difficult to beat on Easy mode. I've pointed out Thunderbolt because it was the second boss and I had to reattempt that battle 10-15 times.

Rune Factory 4's easy mode is NOT easy. The first boss was pathetic to lure you into a false sense of security before it throws a raging unicorn at you in the first dungeon.

I'm not even joking. A unicorn.

I don't think I'll be replaying this game.

Bloody bots on CoD Black ops3.

How about you let me have a bloody chance to use my specialist weapon? Instead of shooting me and forcing me to respawn and wait for the damn thing to charge up again.

Rage at the stupid, stupid battlefront bots.  How can there have been so much stupid in a single rebellion???

If I was a rebel commander I'd have eliminated these pansy ass traits quick smart.  There probably would have been a lot more swearing and shouting but there'd be much less standing around and inability to shoot stormtroopers less than 3ft away from you. A rebellion is not best served by enthusiasm and a can do attitude.

Really wish the Photo Finder in Pokémon Sun allowed you to take pictures of any Pokémon... Got really hyped up for it, then realized it was only for certain wilds and places...

Also want to max out the Photo Finder, but really not looking forward to the amount of grinding...

... Skyrim's smithing... Facking bullshit... I mean... Come on... When the most practical way to level it up is to spend hours making frikking iron daggers until you can suddenly make daedric armour... Because iron daggers just give yo it he insight to copy the armour of demons, right?

It's bloody stupid... Come on, the way you level up something int skyrim makes no sense - surely it'd make more sense if, say... You did quests when you reach a certain level to allow you to unlock more armours to craft? As it is you basically put no effort into it but spend SO MUCH TIME REPEATING THE SAME SHIT IVER AND OVER.... Ahhhhh.... This is why I normally just wait until higher level loot starts dropping on enemies - I have better stuff to be doing than clutching out the walls of whiterun to take items from a chest hidden under the map (to expensive to level up otherwise) craft the stuff, sell it at a different blacksmith, and then repeat the process like 10000 frikking times until I can get half way to 100 smithing skill -_-

I wouldn't be bothering if I didn't need to craft a high level armour for an achievement...

It is totally worth it, just for the exp, for the money source, to complement enchanting, if you have modded armors. Also, don't expect Daedric or Dragonbone/scale armor to appear on enemies, it's extremely rare unless you're on super high levels. At best you'll get ebony-tier stuff. It is worth it for improving armors and weapons, though.

Yes, the levelling system is stupid, but it'd take you a few billion iron daggers to reach level 90. Skyrim would run out of iron :P

Flight Rising’s achievement system is so annoying... A lot of it is either based on grinding or luck… And for many of them, you're limited to a certain amount of times a day you can try for them (as in, real time)… Unless you have a lot of money on and can buy all those things (I don't)…

And then there's one of the achievements that's really easy to get, but it doesn't even work... Worse yet, it counts towards completion, even though really shouldn't…

And I wish expanding dens was not so expensive… Trying to get all the achievements will simultaneously making sure you have every Dragon available start using up resources very fast… Not to mention two of the achievements require a lot of den expanding…

It's still a very fun game to play, but the system has its flaws…

Oh, red mage quest in Bravely Default, how I loathe thee...

It should not take two months to kill a boss on easy mode. I shudder to find out what he was like on Normal or Hard.

Haha, just wait till the one with Conjurer... No matter what I do, I die so fast... It's just really sad.

And I did not realize this thread was here till today. So...

I can't beat Julius on Kingdom Hearts still, dammit! When he starts up his lighting attack, I try my best to get away, but stray lightning bolts get me every time, and then I miserably die... Yeah, the farthest I made was halfway... Dang....

Come on, Curaga, Curaga, Curaga...! Alri- Dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge, DODG- oh, I died...

I was killed by a chicken. A damned chicken. It got rid of the second half of my life points, and I died

*sigh* Why you gotta do this to me, Hyrule Warriors? A chicken, let alone a Cucco, should not be able to kill me that fast...

*suddenly gets bombarded by Cuccos* Dammit!

Most of them I love Nintendo’s E-shop, but sometimes I just hate it... Like the fact that you can't buy games in bulk, and you can only download 10 games at once... The E-shop neglects to tell you when you reach 10, and if you try to purchase another game, it just downloads automatically without allowing you to even stop it…

Not to mention the whole downloading process screws over people who don't have good Internet connections… In my case, downloading games eats through my Internet like candy, and once that happens, the Internet slows down to where the games are barely downloadable… Before you ask, I don't have any good places where I can go to try and get Internet somewhere else…

The worst problem, is that, unlike other types of things that download, if you choose to stop a download and then resume again, it starts you back from the beginning… Not particularly good if you have some games downloading, but need to switch SD cards…

The E shop does have some good exclusive deals and games, along with keeping them all at the same price regardless of how old they are… Not to mention that the way to keep them safe and with me, as long as my system is too… It's just that it has a lot of kinks, the need to be worked out, even though I feel like there should have been worked out long time ago…

The den prices are one of the chief reasons I'm taking a break from that game (in addition to over-inflation of holiday items). I like the concept, but there are many, many issues that could work better. So I seem to have off and on months with FR.

Yes, I created an account about a year ago, but was off it shortly after getting every Dragon available at that time because I couldn't find a way to make money without going very slowly. At the time, I didn't know about the fairgrounds, or the bonuses gotten from exhalting dragons. There's also forums dedicated to helping people sell dragons at prices that will get them a sale, or helping people who need items or money for lair expansions. The multiplayer aspect is where the real fun lies, but that aspect is so hidden away that many people are discouraged… Not to mention it's difficult to use if you don't have much to give (even though it has gotten easier with the more opportunities for new players to join).

I returned to because I wanted to play using a bit of Nuzlocke rules, and once I really did research into game mechanics, had a lot more fun with it… However, I still have problems with it, such as grinding in the Coliseum being annoying, and the fact that not using gems much shuts you out of a lot of things (try doing the egg quest with only scavenging for example)… The system is supposed to be so that there's no disadvantage if you're not a paid player, but there's still a disadvantage anyway.

Yeah. For a long time, I didn't even have Internet connection at all, missing so many Mystery Gifts on Pokémon (like Victini). I couldn't do anything, but luckily now I have Internet...

And Pokémon Yellow...they should have put some better Pokémon in the beginning. None of the Pokémon have the right advantage! All I have is a Metapod and Pikachu...And they hardly do enough damage....

Grind your metapod to a butterfree before Viridian Forest, you'll have a butt-kicking bug who blows through pretty much everything with Confusion. I've been doing this pretty much every play-through of Yellow since I was six ... tried and true method, XD.

That's what I was going to do, actually. I was hoping for a Butterfree, since it'd definitely be strong after a grind. But I forgot about Confusion, to be honest....I did just get the game. Thanks! :P

Mankey and Nidoran (male or female) can be found early. They should add some variety to your party…

Also, still annoyed at Flight Rising… Trying to do the Runestone Quest, but it requires a fair amount of money when I don't have a good way to access money right now… Not to mention that I need to complete the quest in order to get some rare items and complete another one…

Also trying to do all breeding quests, but currently stuck with a bunch of dragons who are unable to breed while running out of lair space…

On another note, I bought Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword without realizing it needed the special motion control attachment… Luckily, I was able to order it, but now it's just sitting here uselessly while I wait for what's basically an add-on to arrive…

I actually found a Nidoran while I was level grinding Metapod, so then I caught it and level grinded again. And I won. :P

On another note...

Are you serious? How do I keep dying on Battlefront? Maybe I should just stick with Battlefront 2 for the PS2, it was way more fun. More Stormtroopers to kill.

But we don't have our PS3 available! Why can't you play PS2 and PS3 games on the PS4?! Without buying it again? Seriously, that was probably my favorite thing about the PS3...
